Please find below a basic cost and promotional structure outlining what you can expect when working with us to present your event. Specific details will be discussed beyond what is listed below should you choose to book with us.
Basic Cost Structure – The Theatre & Gallery
Theatre Rental: $400/day (up to 8 hours)
Gallery Rental: $150/day or $750/week
- The Guild applies subsidies for up-and-coming performers, non-profit groups, specific fundraising events, etc. Our contribution is applied on a case-by-case basis so please, ask us!
Technical Surcharge of $30/hr is applied to any technical activity in the space (lights, sound, A/V etc) and a minimum 3 hr call is charged on any event.
Security service, if required, is booked by and billed directly to the event promoter/organizer.
GST Applies to all charges.
What We Provide
- A 150 seat professional, black box theatre; wheelchair accessible & air-conditioned
- Dressing rooms
- Professional Sound/Light Technician
- Box Office services (Tuesday to Saturday, Noon- 5pm and 1 hour prior to shows)
- Professional on-site Event Liaison & front-of-house staff to facilitate your event
- Licensed bar service
- When theatre-style bar service dictates, access to Gallery @ The Guild where artworks of various disciplines for pre-event and intermission viewing is presented
- Catering arranged (upon request)
MARKETING SERVICES (Included In a Theatre Booking)
- The Guild website
- Your event/group link on our website during your event period
- Monthly Event Calendar inclusion (distributed online, at performances, and from the Box Office)
- Email distribution lists inclusion
- Press Release distribution to local media – client provides press release
- Commercial Radio promotion – may include ticket giveaways, on-air interviews (when available), and 30-second commercials promoting Guild events
- Co-op display advertising opportunity in 'The Buzz', PEI’s leading Arts Magazine
- Guild marquee, window poster & sandwich board display on Queen St – Guild events only
- CBC community events and PSA announcements
