Whether you are looking to book entertainment for a private function, add yourself (as an entertainer) to our database or you are in search of a venue to host & organize a specific event, The Guild is the place to go.

The Guild has developed a database of local entertainers (musicians, actors, self-produced theatrical shows suitable for small-to-medium sized groups) and works as a link between event organizers and local entertainers to meet everyone’s needs.

The database includes solo performers, groups, duos or a variety of ensembles in a variety of disciplines.  Our options for musical genres include:  celtic, rock, pop, folk, country, jazz and traditional Island music.

We accept all applications to our database and there is no fee to participate; therefore the breadth of experience varies from emerging artists to those with international acclaim.  We do recommend all artists provide a link to a musical demo, a website or alternate information that will showcase their talent to a potential client.

If you are looking to book entertainment for a private function, contact us and we’d be happy to provide some options for you.

If you would like The Guild to organize and host an event at our venue for specific clientele, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss the various options available.

I formed my company (in Halifax), Broken Leg Act, because I believe that there is a niche here, which can bring us together as Maritimers. My actors and musician are youngsters. They and their parents are equally excited by the possibility of visiting and performing in such a wonderful place as Charlottetown. The Guild organization has been tremendous. - Aubrey Fricker, Producer, Broken Leg Act Theatre, Halifax, May 2008
