Charlottetown – Mikey Henley is a stand-up comic like no other.

 

Self-dubbed ‘The Eclectic Entertainer’, he has been entertaining people his entire life through all styles of comedy: clean, down-home humour, silly satire, slapstick as well as through eccentrically explicit lyrics that may make a sailor blush.

 

He is fast becoming the pivotal comedian for all-out, in-your-face, Eclectic Entertainment. There are no taboo subjects when he develops his program.  His show makes you think and view the world through his eclectic eyes, all the while being delivered with your enjoyment in mind.

 

Henley grew up all over Southern Ontario but his Island roots include various family members living in western PEI.

 

Since his teens he has lived and worked all over Canada in a wide range of jobs and sectors including farming, seismic, restaurants, truck driver, construction and demolition. He has since realized and now focuses on the job that suits him best, entertaining people.

Both shows are licensed (19+) with explicit content and presented at The Guild on Saturday, January 9 at 5pm and 8pm; theatre doors open at 4:30 and 7:30, respectively.  Tickets are $12 and available at The Guild box office.
