January 15, 2010
Gallery Arts Mixer
Charlottetown – Another installation of the Arts Mixer is being held Thursday, February 4, in the Gallery@The Guild from 4-6pm.
Presenters at the mixer will include: actress Joscelynne Bordeaux representing the Learning Elders Arts Program (LEAP) which provides seniors the opportunity to learn various artistic disciplines from local artists; Geraldine Selles Ysselstein, a landscape painter-turned-eco-artist, expressing the desire to protect and preserve our green spaces using paint and canvas; Island acoustic rock musician, Jordan Cameron presents his vocal/guitar talents; and Richard Chase, a photographer who is fascinated by faces, presents his work via the mixer and as a continuing exhibition in the gallery until February 24th.
The mixer is a licensed event (19+) and everyone is welcome. This is a great opportunity to network, meet artists and those involved in all disciplines of the arts as well as broaden your knowledge of the arts community generally.
This event is co-presented by The Buzz, Young At Heart Theatre and The Guild, with food generously provided by The Merchantman Pub.
