The Guild Summer Festival (Charlottetown, PE) is accepting submissions from artists in PEI and Atlantic Canada in preparation for its 2022 summer season, and future seasons. Actors, musicians, writers, dancers, directors, designers, and creators from all mediums of live performance art are encouraged to submit. Artistic Director Geordie Brown is seeking to meet new artists and learn about their work. The festival presents a Mainstage Series of professional theatre and musicals produced in-house, along with a Celebration Series that celebrates Atlantic Canadian performing artists through concerts and other special performances and presentations.
Artists are encouraged to submit via email to submissions@theguildpei.com
Artists may submit whatever information they like, which may include a resume, bio, and/or examples of work. Artists will be given the opportunity to participate in a virtual meet-and-greet with the artistic director, but this is not a requirement. Managers and Agents may also submit on behalf of artists. Artists who already submitted as part of the General Auditions may submit again if there is a specific project/topic they would like to discuss.
Deadline for submissions is Monday, October 24, 2021.
