AUDITION NOTICE | THE GUILD SUMMER FESTIVAL, CHARLOTTETOWN, PE

The Guild Summer Festival is holding General Auditions in Charlottetown on Monday, September 20, 2021 and Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Artistic Director Geordie Brown is seeking submissions from performers of all ages and backgrounds to be considered for the upcoming 2022 summer season, and future seasons.

The 2022 season will include a combination of plays and musicals, from a variety of genres.

Artists who are selected for an audition will be able to use their scheduled time slot however they like – they can perform a monologue (or two), a song (or two), and/or engage in an introductory discussion. A piano accompanist will be present.

Artists are encouraged to submit a headshot photo, and a resume and/or bio describing relevant training and experience. Please email your submission to submissions@theguildpei.com no later than Friday, September 3rd, 2021. In your submission, please specify if you would like to utilize our accompanist at your audition.

The Guild strives to present content and artists reflective of our diverse community. The Guild is working to engage new voices and talent, with a strong desire to advance opportunities for historically underrepresented and marginalized identities. The Guild accepts submissions from artists of all ethno-cultural backgrounds and gender identities, and celebrates the unique perspectives, histories, and experiences of each and every artist.

Front of House Manager (Part Time)

We are currently looking for an organized, enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of Part-Time Front-of-House Manager to ensure the success of our theatre, gallery events, and event staff.
Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the reception, gallery and seating area of our theatre.
They are responsible for supervising the Front of House staff, assisting and answering questions if needed, and providing and warm and positive presence in the building.
Applicants should be comfortable working in a theatrical setting, with most shows operating on evenings and weekends.
