Our Facility

The Guild is located in the heart of downtown Charlottetown at the corner of Queen and Richmond.

Winner of the 2020 Music PEI SOCAN Venue of the Year Award.

Built in the 1950’s, the Guild has undergone extensive renovations to some areas during the 1990’s and again during 2004 / 05 and most recently in March 2010, with thanks to ACOA. We are excited to now provide live performance recording to all of our clients, as well as our updated staging, lighting and signage.

The Guild is well-known for its 140+ seat black-box theatre. Due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, The Guild theatre has lowered its capacity to 50 patrons. Chairs are now grouped with a maximum of 6 chairs per group, and each group is 6ft. from one another. It is possible that depending on the size of your party, you may be seated with other audience members within those 6 chairs. The Guild is wheelchair accessible, air-conditioned and licensed.

The Gallery @ The Guild provides space for exhibitions from various disciplines of creative expression. This space can be booked in combination with the Theatre or as a separate space for receptions.

Theatre and Gallery rentals are under contract for specified events and time frames, as required. Booking inquiries for events in these two areas are to be directed to the Manager of Events and Operations at 902-368-4479.

Any inquiries for Gallery exhibitions are to be directed to events@theguildpei.com
