Filling the shoes of Alanna Jankov at the Guild is impossible, however, I am pleased to be following in her foot prints as the CEO of the Guild. Under the direction of the Guilds Board of Directors I am committed to their dedication to the members of our cultural and arts community. It’s wonderful to once again be residing full time on the Island, and, for those whom

I have not had the privilege to meet, here is a snapshot of my professional life. Most recently: Venue Manager of the Van Gogh PEI Exhibit, and, for much of the season I embraced working with the team at the Dunes Studio Gallery in Brackley Beach.

Professional Highlights:
A 3-year contract with the Chester Playhouse to transition the operations from a seasonal platform to a year-round presentation venue. I along with the Board of Directors, supported a very success Capital Campaign for the restoration of the 82-year-old building. For the past 10 years, Chair, Board of Directors for Devour! the Food Film Fest based in Wolfville NS Devour! is now the largest Food Film Fest in the world.

And, I proudly was the founding Board Chair of the Social Enterprise Hope Blooms. Known to embrace a good social especially when it’s supporting a worthy cause – here are some of the organizations in which I led their signature fundraising events: Chester Playhouse, Mental Health Foundation of NS, Pier 21 Society, QE2 Foundation, and Kids Help Phone.

It is my belief that the success of every organization is based on respect, collaboration and cooperation of its members and with my role as CEO of the Guild, I look forward to representing the organization in its continued service of our culture and arts community.
